The Foreign Hangawi Festival Has Been Cancelled

WeHOPE was excited to participate in their 4th annual Hangawi Festival due to take place September 8th 2019. With rain early in the week and typhoon Lingling on a direct path for Ulsan, the city of Ulsan decided that it was better to be safe than sorry and cancelled the festival.

The WeHOPE team was prepared to dazzle the festival participants with their traditional arts and crafts table along with their traditional candy making equipment. WeHOPE had also hoped to display their cotton candy machine and sweet new Instagram frames. I guess they will have to wait until the next festival. Happy Chuseok everybody!
